Putin’s visit to China will last for 4 days, “very rare”

According to TASS local time on June 22, Russian presidential assistant Yuri Ushakov said in an interview: Russian President Putin will pay a four-day visit to China from August 31 to September 3.
Ushakov said: “The Chinese side will prepare several activities by then.” He also added that for Putin, such a long foreign visit is indeed “very rare.”
The report said that during his visit to China, Putin is expected to meet with Chinese leaders at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit held from August 31 to September 1, and attend important bilateral talks with China on September 2. On September 3, the leaders of China and Russia will also attend related activities to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
