Bangkok seizes house used to produce illegal e-cigarettes

A Chinese entrepreneur rented a luxury home in the Ram Inthra area of Bangkok for illegal production of e-cigarettes. Their work involves refurbishing discarded e-cigarette butts with new e-liquid and then repackaging them for resale.
Yesterday, June 21, Major General Pattanasak Bubpasuwan, commander of the Consumer Protection Police Department, instructed Colonel Krivis Santhavisuk, Superintendent of the First Precinct, Lieutenant Colonel Kittiphat Kongsungnoen, Inspector of the First Precinct, and Lieutenant Colonel Thitiwat Nikrotha, Deputy Superintendent of the Sixth Precinct, to investigate a property in Soi Panya-Ram Inthra, Bang Chan Subdistrict, Khlong Sam Wa District. Earlier, the police received a report that the property was used as a storage place for e-cigarettes to be sold.
When the police arrived, they found Zhao Bin, 35, and Yin Haibin, 44, both Chinese citizens, outside the e-cigarette production workshop. Inside the workshop, five Burmese workers were refurbishing e-cigarettes and refilling them with new e-liquid.
