A 16-year-old girl from New Taipei City has been missing for 2 weeks and has been found! A 42-year-old man she dated online was abducted to a hotel

A 16-year-old high school girl living in Yonghe, New Taipei City, lost contact after school on the 4th of this month. Her family hurriedly reported the case and posted a message online to find her. After several days of searching, the police found her in a hotel in Taishan District yesterday (20th). It turned out that the girl “eloped” with a 42-year-old man surnamed Jiang whom she met online and was arranged to stay in the hotel. The police arrested the married man Jiang yesterday and transferred him to the New Taipei City Prosecutor’s Office for investigation on suspicion of seduction.
It is understood that the girl suddenly lost contact after school on the 4th of this month. Her family hurriedly posted the girl’s characteristics online to find her, and revealed that the girl had appeared at Taoyuan Railway Station and Shulin Railway Station, and might have lived in the home of a netizen.
Yonghe police checked the surveillance cameras and found that the girl had taken a vehicle to the Xinyue Bridge embankment many times, but she disappeared. Therefore, they asked the New Taipei Police Department’s Hawkeye Team to help find her. Finally, they found the vehicle that picked up the girl and locked the girl into a hotel in Taishan District.
After the Yonghe police locked in the girl, they requested a search warrant from the prosecutors and found the girl who had been missing for about two weeks in a hotel yesterday afternoon. They also arrested Jiang, the man who abducted the girl, in Xinzhuang District. The case was transferred for investigation under suspicion of abduction.
