Trump, unhappy with India’s purchase of Russian oil, plans to hike tariffs within 24 hours

Trump said that because of India’s high tariffs, the two countries do not do much business, which is why the reciprocal tariff is set at 25%. However, Trump said that he expects to increase India’s reciprocal tariff within the next 24 hours because India continues to buy oil from Russia.

Trump said that if India continues to buy Russian oil to support Russia’s war machine, he will not be happy.

Trump said that India has expressed its willingness to grant the United States zero tariffs and open its market to the United States, but he believes that this is not enough because India still purchases oil from Russia.

Trump also stated that if the US and China reach a trade agreement, he would likely meet with Xi Jinping before the end of the year. However, he also stated that if the US and China fail to reach an agreement, the two sides will not meet. “If there’s no agreement, what’s the point of meeting?”

However, Trump stated that he believes the US and China are very close to a trade agreement, stating that the US and China have good interactions and that he has a very good relationship with Xi Jinping.
