24-year-old flight attendant died in sudden fall while on vacation; police do not rule out homicide

A 24-year-old Italian flight attendant went on vacation to Austria with her boyfriend a few days ago. She suddenly fell from the balcony of her residence and died two days after being sent to the hospital. The police have not yet ruled out the possibility of homicide.
According to DailyMail, the deceased is Aurora Maniscalco from Italy. She worked for Lauda Europe, a low-cost airline under Ryanair. At the time of the incident, she was on vacation with her 27-year-old boyfriend, but suddenly fell from the third-floor balcony and fell heavily to the ground from a height of 10 meters. After seeing this, her boyfriend immediately called the police and informed the emergency personnel. Although Aurora was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment, she eventually died of her injuries on June 23.
Her boyfriend is also from Italy. Although he is also a flight attendant, he works for a different company. The police are currently fully investigating the truth of the incident, including checking her mobile phone and other electronic devices to clarify what happened before she fell from the building. In addition, the family has requested an autopsy and filed complaints with the prosecutors in Vienna and Palermo, Italy through their lawyers.
Alberto Raffadale, the family lawyer, said: “We have filed two complaints with the prosecutors in Vienna and Palermo.” The case is still under investigation and the police have not ruled out the possibility that Aurora may have been pushed down.
There are more similar incidents. Previously, Irfan Ali Mirza, a 45-year-old male flight attendant of British Airways, was also found dead in a hotel room in San Francisco, USA. He had just arrived in San Francisco from London Heathrow Airport and was expected to return to the UK in two days. Unexpectedly, his colleagues could not be contacted when he reported for duty. After the hotel manager broke into the room, he found that he had died lying on the bed.
San Francisco authorities confirmed the identity of the deceased, but refused to disclose the cause of death, nor did they say whether they were still keeping the body for him. However, the police’s initial investigation at the scene did not find any signs of external intervention.
