Can I still go to the United States? A Norwegian tourist had this photo on his phone and was denied entry

A young Norwegian man, Mads Mikkelsen, was going to travel to the United States, but he was directly denied entry after the immigration department found a spoof photo of US Vice President JD Vance on his phone.
Mickelsen told the media that he arrived at Newark Airport in New Jersey on the 11th of this month, but he was taken to a separate small room by US personnel and was interrogated “without reason” about drug trafficking, terrorism and right-wing extremism.
According to Mickelsen’s recollection, it was during this process that the US personnel began to threaten him to reveal the unlock code of his phone, and said that if he did not cooperate, he would be fined US$5,000 or imprisoned for 5 years.
According to the report, the US personnel finally found a spoof photo related to US Vice President Vance in his phone. This spoof photo turned Vance into a bald head with an egg-like head, and some of Vance’s facial features were also exaggerated.
The US news website Daily Beast reported that when the US personnel found the picture, Mickelson explained that it was automatically saved to the phone by the chat software. This emoticon package became very popular on the Internet after Volodymyr Zelensky visited the United States in February this year. Mickelson told the US personnel that it was just a joke, but he was still forcibly searched and forced to provide blood samples and fingerprint information. He recalled: “I felt like I was sitting there like a suspected terrorist. I tried to cheer myself up several times, but in the end, I just wanted to go home.”
