Three people were injured in a shooting in Times Square early this morning; police arrested a 17-year-old gunman.

US media reported that a 17-year-old gunman opened fire in New York City’s Times Square early this morning, injuring three people. Police have apprehended the shooter.

The New York Post reported that the New York City Police Department said the shooting occurred around 1:20 a.m. local time.

The three injured were an 18-year-old woman, a 19-year-old man, and a 65-year-old man.

Police also stated that all three were taken to local New York City hospitals and are currently in stable condition.

The 17-year-old suspect has been apprehended, and police recovered a gun at the scene.

Due to the suspect’s age, police have not yet released his identity and have not yet filed charges.
