On the 20th, a car collided with itself and caught fire for unknown reasons while passing near 54K on the northbound lane of National Highway 5. Passersby assisted in reporting the incident and rescue. When the police and firefighters arrived, the car was already engulfed in flames. After the fire was extinguished, a 27-year-old woman was found dead. The witness said, “I’m sorry, miss. I passed by and saw it. I got out of the car immediately and tried my best to save you, but the car body was stuck and couldn’t be pulled out… In the end, there were several explosions and it was completely burned…”
The witness said that the fire was not very big at first. Several cars in front did not stop. He saw the car on fire and rushed out of the car to save people while asking the car behind to help call the fire department. He said that the deceased was still conscious at first, but after a few explosions, he was completely burned. “I wanted to save him but couldn’t, and watched him pass away.”
He pointed out that he was holding the deceased’s hand at the time of the incident, “I wanted to pull it out, but it was stuck and trapped by the car. I finally gave up and retreated, waiting for the police and firefighters to arrive. He was only 27 years old, and a young and precious life was gone just like that…” He also admitted that he couldn’t calm down for a long time.
