The medical staff of Haikou Meilan International Airport confirmed the above incident to Lizhi News, saying that the child and the mother were safe. As for the age of the passengers and the infectious diseases they carried, they were not convenient to disclose because of personal privacy.
The staff of the airline involved said that the flight had been cleaned and disinfected after the incident, and it did not affect the execution of subsequent flights.
According to Lizhi News, the staff of Guoxing Police Station of Qiongshan Branch of Haikou Public Security Bureau told reporters that the girl’s parents asked the police for help on the evening of the 13th, hoping that the child’s father could come out to bear the medical expenses. According to the police investigation, the girl and the boy involved were both 16 years old, reaching the age of sexual consent, and both parties had a voluntary relationship, so it was not a criminal case.
The police said that the boy involved did not answer the phone, and then the girl’s parents said they would contact the other party on their own. Staff at the Haikou Maternal and Child Health Hospital told reporters that the girl has been discharged from the hospital accompanied by her family.
