
On July 4, the second ministerial meeting of China, Myanmar and Thailand to jointly combat telecommunications and Internet fraud crimes was held in Naypyidaw, Myanmar. At the meeting, the relevant departments of the three countries reached a series of consensus on deepening police law enforcement cooperation, and will continue to work together to severely crack down on telecommunications and Internet fraud crimes in Myawaddy and other places, comprehensively eliminate telecommunications fraud parks, arrest all fraud-related personnel, resolutely eradicate the soil for fraud-related crimes, and effectively safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of people of all countries.
It is understood that since the beginning of this year, the relevant departments of China, Myanmar and Thailand have worked together to launch a fierce offensive against telecommunications and Internet fraud crimes in the Myawaddy area, and have captured and repatriated more than 5,400 Chinese fraud-related personnel, achieving remarkable results.
