A Vietnamese male migrant worker in his 20s in New Taipei City went fishing under the Ganyuan Bridge in Shulin District yesterday evening (28th), but has not returned to the dormitory until this morning (29th). His roommates were very worried and reported the case to the police and firefighters for help. The fire department received the report at around 12 noon. A large number of search and rescue personnel searched along the shore under the bridge and found the missing migrant worker’s belongings in the pool next to the Sanjia motorcycle training ground, but there was no sign of him. Rescue personnel are currently continuing to search the scene.
