Even the most famous “fertility expert” in the United States believes that sperm donation should be moderate.
According to the New York Post, Ari Nagel, known as “The Sperminator”, officially announced his retirement on Father’s Day, ending his 17-year sperm donation career. He has a total of 176 children, across 20 states in the United States and 10 countries on five continents.
Nagel, who is about to turn 50, admitted: “Although I still have energy, sperm is not unlimited. It is better to let them find a younger (donor), it is better than regretting it.” He is currently dating a 22-year-old woman who does not want children, and he can finally get rid of his long-term abstinence.
Nagel, a mathematics professor at the City University of New York, is 6 feet 2 inches tall and has blue eyes. He still has five children to be born. His biggest attraction is that he never charges fees, helping women save high sperm bank fees and cumbersome artificial insemination procedures. Over the years, he has helped many single women, same-sex couples and infertile families realize their dreams.
His “sperm donation” locations are extremely diverse, including Starbucks bathrooms, basketball games, airport terminals, and even airports; he uses the most direct and primitive methods. His first child was born in 2008. The other party was a lesbian who sought sperm donors on Craigslist. “We conceived in the old-fashioned way. I tried to solve it quickly and minimize the discomfort of the other party.”
Many of the children’s names are related to him, such as Ari, Aria, Aacari, Khari, Arianna, Aries and Ariel. “We are an unconventional modern family.” Nagel said. He himself comes from an Orthodox Jewish family and is the fourth of seven children in the family.
He admitted that one of the reasons for choosing retirement was that he could no longer fulfill the responsibility of “accompanying”. “Being a father is not just about donating sperm, but more importantly, being there for the children. I have too many birthdays, games and graduation ceremonies to attend.”
Nagel is separated from his first wife and has three children. He was briefly married to five women, mainly for religious or legal reasons rather than love. He currently has to pay alimony to five early recipients, which accounts for about half of his annual salary of $100,000.
“I’m not as rich as Musk, but I’m richer than him,” he said with a smile.
He quickly became a focus after being first reported by the New York Post in 2016, when he “only” had 22 children. Since then, he has fought lawsuits in Israel, endorsed male fertility supplements, and even starred in the New York Post’s online series.
He recalled that his biggest sacrifice for many years was abstinence. “You never know when the other person will ovulate, so you have to remain abstinent to ensure the success rate.”
