Ding Xuexiang said that the current international situation has undergone profound changes. Russia is willing to further strengthen pragmatic cooperation with China and jointly create a better future for the two countries and the world. Putin also said that he looks forward to attending the “Shanghai Cooperation Organization Tianjin Summit” and the “80th Anniversary Commemoration of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War”.
Earlier, Russian presidential assistant Ushakov said earlier that Putin planned to visit China from August 31 to September 3, during which he would hold comprehensive bilateral talks with Xi Jinping.
