The Trump administration released the salary report of White House employees on the 3rd, with the lowest annual salary being 59,070 yuan and the highest being 225,700 yuan. In addition, 8 people do not receive any salary at all.

The highest paid person among the White House staff is senior adviser Jacalynne Klopp, who earns 225,700 yuan a year and is the only employee with a salary of more than 220,000 yuan. The second highest paid person is assistant legal adviser Edgar Mkrtchian, who earns 203,645 yuan a year.

The next 33 people have an annual salary of $195,200, including many familiar officials, such as White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt, White House Deputy Director of Enforcement Operations Tom Homan, White House Chief of Staff Susan Wiles, White House Trade Advisor Peter Navarro, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung, White House Deputy Chief of Staff and Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller, etc.

According to the report, 108 staff members have an annual salary between $59,000 and $80,000, and the annual salary of the scribes who write speeches for Trump is between $92,500 and $121,500.

Generally speaking, except for cabinet ministers, the salaries of other White House staff are determined based on seniority and position, so there are cases where non-top-level employees have higher salaries than ministers.

The salary report also lists eight people who do not receive any salary at all, including National Security Advisor Marco Rubio and Middle East Envoy Steve Witkoff. Rubio cannot receive a double salary because he is both Secretary of State and National Security Advisor.

As for President Trump himself, his salary is not listed in the report, but federal law clearly stipulates that the president’s basic salary is 400,000 yuan, with an additional 50,000 yuan in expenses, 100,000 yuan in travel expenses and 19,000 yuan in entertainment expenses.
